2006 Warragamba Deep Storage Access Project

2002 Sydney M5 Tunnels
These 4 kilometre tunnels were constructed as part of the M5 East Motorway running from General Holmes Drive, Kyeemagh to King Georges Road, Beverly Hills. Nigel Pohio of BEM Group was contracted as General Superintendent (Tunnels) for this project. -
1999 Wombarra Drainage Project

1999 Eastern Distributor

1996 Sydney M2 Tunnels
As part of the M2 Motorway running from East Ryde to Winston Hills, two tunnels were constructed concurrently using roadheaders. Nigel Pohio of BEM Group was contracted as Tunnel Superintendent for this project. -
1995 Prospect to Pipehead Water Tunnel

1990 Boomerang Creek Tunnel
Construction of an 11 kilometre long tunnel to supply water from Mangrove Creek Dam (Gosford Shire) to Yarramalong Valley (Wyong Shire). Once water reached the Yarramalong Valley, it would flow on down to the Mardi Dam for storage. Nigel Pohio of BEM Group was contracted as Shiftboss for this project. -
1987 Blackall Range Tunnel

1984 Ok Tedi Tunnels, Papua New Guinea
Nigel Pohio of BEM Group was contracted as Shiftboss on all three tunnels of this project, including the Ok Mani, Moscow Ridge and the Ok Ma tunnels. The Ok Ma tunnel was later abandoned due to the Ok Ma land slide.
